HeadwayTips Inspiration Skin

The design for this site, has been created as a Headway Skin, and you can download and install it within a couple of minutes!

It’s a great skin, and also a great way to learn about how to build a skin file. As a bonus, you also get access to the Skin Template Generator..

The front page image rotator is the wp_cycle plugin, which is very simple to install and use:

The front page rotator can be easily enabled or disabled within the skin options.

Additionally, if the wp_cycle plugin is simply not installed – there are no ugly error messages.

The skin includes the widgetized footer styled as below, including the footer links wordpress menu:

The footer links are easily maintained through the wordpress menu admin page:

You will need to add your own css values to the css classes etc. once you have created the skeleton skin plugin using the generator, but this gives you a fully functional skin with which to start:
